The main goal of open source is that everyone can use source code of some program and write modification in accordance with his own need, but he also should give in public source of this modified code. This way gives opportunity for quick development and adaptation different applications. LSS group in cooperation with CARNet (Croatian Academic and Research Network) tested available application and operative systems on different hardware platforms and wrote extensive installation and configuration documentation in the following fields:
